Religious Education - Children & Youth

In the search for truth and meaning that is indicative of our faith, we believe children are never too young to form foundations in religious practice and understanding. The Principles and our Heritage are the cornerstones of our religious identity and serve to promote the values of justice, equity and compassion that are extended to all. The inherent worth and dignity of each person and each aspect of our creation makes the perspective of UU Faith unique. As a foundation, children will learn to make better decisions that reflect these values in their daily lives and through the relationships they build with all.

This year's curriculum explores the rich UU Heritage and the Religious practices of our faith. Each program is geared towards the developmental age of the child and draws upon the principles and purposes through art, music, stories and discussion. Each child is encouraged to explore the deeper meaning of their faith and learn from the models of action that are presented as historical figures within our UU background. I hope you and your child will join us in building our faith and our community.
