3 "Did Abraham Strike a good Deal With God?" - Warren Wagner
Belief in the existence of God and exactly what He, She or It might be has been a bone of contention for centuries. There is even suggestion of a natural God which one might suspect is better for one's health. Whether God exists or not is a matter of faith. The belief he exists is a matter of fact. Using the biblical agreement between Abraham and God as a reference point, we will examine biblical history and some of the many different faces of God. Our objective is to find some clarity concerning his identity, and finally to entertain the question: Has a belief in God been useful? Yes? No? In what context?
